What companies are utilized to provide the Trip Tours and Activities? 

We currently use Diamond Tours®. “Since 1987, over two million people have travelled with Diamond Tours® from all across America. They are the largest bus tour operator in America dealing exclusively in motorcoach group travel.” 

However, we are in the process of identifying other vendors to provide tours utilizing other transportation modes such as trains, riverline cruise ships, etc. Once we’ve built up a participant list we hope to be better able to negotiate reasonable prices for tour packages.

What is covered by the price per person? 

The price covers the entire round-trip Transportation, Lodging -including en route hotels, Admission to all activities, most Meals - breakfast and dinner, and Tips for the motorcoach driver, the Tour Guides and trip-paid meals. Each participant is responsible for Lunches since we are usually touring and stopping at a location where lunch can be purchased by the participants.

What type of motorcoaches are used? 

Top-quality motorcoaches are used with at least a 54 seat capacity. The coaches are video and restroom equipped.

What hotels are used? 

“In most cases, Diamond Tours® books non-smoking rooms with either two double or queen size beds in major franchise hotels. Our on-site representatives regularly inspect hotels for sanitation, hospitality and safety. Common hotel chains used are: Fairfield Inn & Suites, Courtyard by Marriot, Sheraton Hotel, Springhill Suites, Comfort Suites, and other similar properties in quality and type.”

Can I book a tour for my group as a fundraiser or family gatherings? 

Yes, contact us with your location, the desired trip location, desired date and expected number of participants. We will attempt to arrange a personalized group trip for you if you are planning earlier enough in advance since the minimum participants required to pull off from a location is 35. We will provide you with flyers and material required to distribute to your group. We can also suggest a payment plan to cover the costs for those who require one.

What is the cancellation policy? 

“The company (Diamond Tours®) has one of the most liberal cancellation policies in the travel industry. Reimbursements for all individual cancellations will be made and honored up to 30 days prior to departure.” “If the individual has purchased the Travel Confident® Protection Plan, they may be protected even further. Please refer to the plan document for complete details.”

Can seniors with mobility issues or handicapped individuals participate in the tours? 

“YES! ALL Diamond Tours® Destinations throughout the USA and Canada are specifically curated, designed, and tailored for passengers over the ages of 55+. When they design the trips and choose the attractions, they carefully screen everything in advance to ensure excessive walking is not an issue, and folks that are handicapped are accommodated.” However, if you have any special needs and before booking you should contact the Group Leader to discuss any special accommodations that may be required.

Can the tour be adjusted to include or remove other activities? 

YES! Alternative activities are available if for example a Casino trip is to be eliminated. Check with us as to the possible alternatives available.
